A WITNESS appeal has been made following the theft of a black Land Rover Defender from Cononley.
North Yorkshire Police said the theft of the vehicle, registration number PO59 WMK, occurred at 11.40pm yesterday, June 4, from Skipton Road, in the village.
A spokesman said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance and would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time. We would also like to hear from anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the Land Rover Defender.
"Anyone with information that could assist the investigation, including any relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Gurpreet Sahota. You can also email Gurpreet.Sahota@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
