VIRAL sensation Rachel Parris is limbering up for a tour due to arrive at Leeds City Varieties on September 20.

Star of The Mash Report, she is due to present a comedy show packed with standup, song, sketch, and inevitably a sideways swipe at society.

In her show All Change Please she will showcase some of her best bits, from her trademark comic anthems, to her all-too relatable, bittersweet standup, alongside brand new material looking at the insane events of this year.

The Times described Rachel as a gifted performer, while the Guardian said she was endearingly frank and funny by generating tears of laughter.

Rachel Parris is an actress, improviser and comedian based in London, and for several years she has performed musical comedy, stand-up and improv across the UK.

Hailing from Leicester, she studied Music at Oxford University before going on to train at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

In 2013 her debut solo comedy show The Commission, was praised by critics, with the Guardian calling it “captivating...a striking debut” and The Scotsman describing it as “classy clever comedy...uproarious”.

In 2014 and 2015 she toured nationally with Chortle Award-winning improv show Austentatious, which she co-founded.

Planned for September at the City Varieties are: Dublin Legends: Alive-Alive Oh! (September 2); Gyles Brandreth in his latest show Break A Leg (September 2); Ward Thomas (September 6); Sofie Hagen (September 12), David Doherty (September 17).
