SWEET Caroline is the name of a Neil Diamond tribute show coming to King’s Hall in Ilkley on December 10.

Gary Ryan, who played the American singer-songwriter on TV talent show Stars in Their Eyes, will present the musical journey celebrating 50 years of a legend.

A spokesman said: “From Brooklyn to Hollywood, Neil Diamond has left a legacy of great songs which have been covered by every great vocalist.

“Spanning all genres from the reggae of Red Red Wine, through the country of Cracklin’ Rosie, and the Hollywood music of The Jazz Singer.

“This sensational live show celebrates all things Diamond. Come and enjoy all the hits including Forever In Blue Jeans, America, Love On The Rocks and of course, the unforgettable Sweet Caroline.”

Sweet Caroline comes from the producers of Fastlove, a hit tribute to George Michael, and the popular touring show The Magic of Motown

King’s Hall will also play host to tribute shows The Matt Monro Story (September 28), and Some Kinda Wonderful, The Music of Stevie Wonder, featuring Noel McCalla and The Derek Nash Band on September 29.
