HAWORTH Riding for the Disabled (RDA) has received a £3,868 boost from Lloyds Banking Group’s community fund.
The money – for new equipment – was awarded after the charity was nominated by Michelle Cranswick, who works for Lloyds and is a volunteer with the riding group.
Good causes put forward by bank staff for potential funding are then voted on by colleagues.
Jackie Butterfield, for Haworth RDA, said: “We are delighted that the employees of Lloyds chose our project for funding and are very grateful to Michelle for putting us forward. Michelle is a valuable volunteer who comes on her day off to help us out – we are equally grateful for her time and commitment.”
