HISTORIC East Riddlesden Hall has enjoyed a bumper year.
The 17th-century National Trust property last year attracted 42,742 visitors – up from 37,154 in 2018.
Bosses at the Bradford Road premises say they are delighted with the figure, which equates to a rise of about 15 per cent.
Tribute is paid to all those who have supported the hall, including the trust’s team of volunteers.
“We’ve had a really successful year thanks to the support of the local community and visitors from all over the world!” said a hall spokesman.
“Also, we could not have carried out the £87,000 worth of conservation work that was done, maintained the green spaces that East Riddlesden Hall has to offer or delighted our visitors with a genuine Yorkshire welcome without the support of our volunteers.
“This year we have even more planned and will continue to welcome everyone and offer a space for people to enjoy in their own way.”
