FIFTEEN people have been arrested in the first six days of a Christmas drink and drug driving crackdown.

West Yorkshire Police roads policing unit is warning motorists to "think twice" before getting behind the wheel of their vehicle if they've had a drink or are under the influence of drugs.

"In this day and age how do people still think this is acceptable?" the unit said on social media.

"Drink and drug driving kills.

"Make it a call for a taxi rather than a call to a loved one from custody when under arrest."
