PEOPLE can learn more about a care trust’s community health services at a meeting next Thursday (Nov 28).

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is staging its final public board meeting of the year.

The meeting – which is open to anyone from across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven – takes place at New Mill, Victoria Road, Saltaire, between 1.30pm and 5pm.

A presentation will be given by the trust’s adult and children’s community care group.

There will be information about district nursing. The community service is available at all times and on average makes more than 30,000 contacts with patients every month.

The meeting will also include a discussion about upcoming priorities, such as winter planning, and monthly chief executive and performance reports.

Patrick Scott, the trust’s chief operating officer, said: “We are extremely proud of the care provided to our local communities by our adult and children’s community care group teams.

“They deliver a range of specialist services, the greatest strength of which is the passion and commitment of our staff.

“Our board meetings are a valuable opportunity to hear about progress across these services. We would be delighted to welcome the public to our final board meeting of the year.”
