AN annual event being staged in Keighley will be music to the ears of young people.
The town’s Rotary club is holding its young musician competition, at the Shared Church, on Saturday, November 16.
It is open to solo instrumentalists and vocalists and will be judged in age groups.
The competition for those aged 12 and under starts at 1.30pm, and for older age groups at 2.30pm.
Entrants must be 18 or under on August 31 next year.
The top performers will be invited to compete in a district final early next year.
There is a closing date for entries of November 2, but late entrants will be accepted if places are available.
The competition is free to enter.
Members of the public are invited to attend the event – admission is £3, including a hot drink and cake.
