FIRE investigators have confirmed the cause of a ferocious blaze which ripped through a Keighley building.
Firefighters from across West Yorkshire tackled the inferno, which severely damaged a three-storey premises in South Street.
The blaze– on Monday – was on the ground and first floors of the building, which has multiple uses including a takeaway restaurant and flat above.
Fire crews were alerted just after 5am and spent much of the day at the scene.
West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service says investigations have concluded that an electrical fault was to blame.
A spokesman said: "The fire was caused by a fault with the electricity supply equipment to the building in the area of the meter."
