AN Oakworth pub celebrated its 20th anniversary in style.

The Snooty Fox staged a fundraising night and party, with proceeds going to Manorlands.

And the event coined-in £2,207 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.

Attractions included a raffle and auction, and there were collection boxes for donations.

Licensee Mandi Pickles, who runs the Colne Road pub with husband Richard and her mum Pam Tarves, said it was a “fantastic” night.

“We are so pleased with how it went and delighted and proud of the amount raised for Manorlands,” she added.

“We’d like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to everybody who came along on the night and supported us and Manorlands – and to all customers who have given their support over the past 20 years.”

Manorlands’ services are free to patients and their loved ones, but it costs £9,000 a day to keep the hospice open.
