KEIGHLEY’S Morrisons store has raised more than £10,000 to help children fighting cancer.
Staff and customers have rallied round for events and collections, raising £10,128 so far for Clic Sargent Young Lives Against Cancer.
Nicole McGuinness, the store’s Community Champion, said that across the company the partnership and raised £8 million for the charity.
She said “We’d like to thank the community for being so generous by supporting us in the bucket collections, tombolas and fun days we hold in the Keighley store.”
A Clic Sargent spokesman said the fundraising was transforming support it gave children and young people with cancer, limiting the damage cancer caused beyond their health.
