A CLASSIC Vehicle Gathering will be held on Father’s Day in aid of Manorlands.

The event, now in its fifth year, will be held at the Keighley Rugby Union Football Club ground in Utley on Sunday June 16 from 10am to 4pm.

Spokesman Tony Anderton said the event was getting bigger every year, and would involve classic car clubs such as Craven Old Wheels Society, Dales Historic Vehicle Club, Chevin Motor Club, City of Leeds MG and Classic Car Club and the XR Owners Club.

He said: “These will be joined by many more individual entries. Children’s rides along with stalls will also be present. The rugby club will be providing food and drinks throughout the day.

“This year’s event has been lucky enough to be granted a flypast by the Hurricane from the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which is scheduled for 2pm (weather permitting).”

Entry is via donation, with the entire proceeds going to Manorlands.

Tony added: “The organisers would like thank Expressed Steel Panels and West Yorkshire Classics, with their party fire engine, for all their help with this year’s event.”
