FOUR staff from Keighley social housing group Incommunities took the plunge to raise money for charity.

Chief executive Geraldine Howley and colleagues Adrienne Reid, Greg Robinson and Mark Crane tackled the Great North Swim.

They covered a mile-long course on Lake Windermere, together raising £1,360 for domestic abuse charity Women’s Aid.

Mrs Howley said: "It was tough going as we faced some really choppy and icy waters – but we did it.

"A big thank-you goes to everyone who has supported our challenge and colleagues who have said they will make donations."

In previous years, Mrs Howley and her team have taken to the water to support the Prince’s Trust and homelessness charity Crisis.
