A KEIGHLEY brewery is toasting two coveted accolades.
Bridgehouse Brewery's Porter and DandyLion tipples both scooped silver at the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) North East Beer Awards.
A presentation ceremony was held at Gateshead Rugby Football Club.
James Kelly, the brewery's sales manager, said: "We are very excited to have won not one but two awards at this year’s competition.
"As the brewing industry grows it is hard to stand out from the crowd, so to win these awards helps to confirm Bridgehouse Brewery's dedication to making quality, flavoursome ales.
"The brewer rose to the challenge when he was asked to create a beer containing dandelion, and our Porter has won a number of awards and continues to be a popular choice for dark-ale lovers."
The SIBA awards scrutinise a huge range of beers across categories including cask, keg, and bottle and can.
Judges include brewers, industry experts and beer journalists.
"They had a tough job separating the pack as the standard was extremely high once again," said the society's chairman, Ian Fozard.
"The winners are officially the best independent craft beers in the UK, something brewers should be extremely proud of."
