YOUNGSTERS from Sutton in Craven Community Primary School enjoyed a trip to Bradford Industrial Museum.

Children from years one and two took part in a toy detective workshop, learning about toys from the past 100 years.

Head teacher Fiona Beetles said the pupils had a “fantastic time”, adding: “ The children explored the working mechanisms and everyday materials of these toys and how these have changed and developed over the years.

“They loved playing with all the different toys and noticed how some of them are still around today!

“As well as the workshop, children got to explore the museum’s other exhibits which included learning about steam power, engineering, printing machinery and motor vehicles.”
