CANDIDATES who will do battle at the polls on May 2 have been confirmed.

A third of the seats on Bradford Council, which is currently Labour controlled, will be up for grabs.

Those standing in the Keighley district are:

Bingley Rural – Helen Baranowski (Lib Dem), Mohammed Ashraf Miah (Lab), Brian Newham (Green) and Paul Gerald Sullivan (Con)

Craven – Chris Atkinson (Ind), Michael Owen Goodall (Con), Peter John Kaye (The Yorkshire Party), Andrew David Loud (Lab), Paul Michael Mann (Lib Dem) and Caroline Whitaker (Green)

Keighley Central – Zafar Ali (Con), Cath Bacon (Lab), Shannon Peter Russell (Lib Dem) and Allan Ralph Swales (Green)
