AN open forum is planned to debate the possibility of holding a Keighley Pride event.
Anyone interested in contributing ideas or wishing to ask questions is invited to attend the forum, at Central Hall, Alice Street, Keighley, on March 4, at 7pm.
The discussions are being organised by Julie Lintern, who says the initial response from both the local LGBTQ and wider community has been positive.
She added: “Pride events have evolved over the years and are becoming more and more accepted in society, with people coming together to celebrate gender, race, religion, age and ability.
“These events help people to express their individuality and encourage them to share their own experiences.”
