KEIGHLEY artist Ben Snowden will this year display his artwork in an exhibition in Poland as well as across the North of England.

Ben is one of the ‘82 Painters of the 21st Century’ featured in Made in Britain at the National Gallery of Poland in Gdansk.

From March 14 to June 2 his work will hang alongside that of famous artists like David Hockney and Tracey Emin. Also featured in the high-profile exhibition are artists Alan Davie, Mandy Payne, Terry Greene, Enzo Marra, Karl Bielik and Susan Gunn.

The exhibition comes after Ben was selected to be part of the Priseman Seabrook Collection of 21st Century British Painting, alongside David Hockney, Lucian Freud and Tracey Emin. The British-based private collection is dedicated to painting produced in Britain after the year 2000 and pieces from it are periodically exhibited at galleries across Europe.

Ben is a contemporary artist whose paintings are influenced by influenced by memory, emotion and the natural world.

Until February 28 Ben’s work can be seen on the Big Screen in City Park, Bradford, as part of a film presentation entitled Celebration of Colour, created by Silsden art enthusiast Colin Neville through his Not Just Hockney project and Bradford UNESCO City of Film.

lso in Bradford, Ben is again exhibiting at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery as part of the Bradford Open 2019 exhibition until May 5.

A North Yorkshire exhibition featuring Ben’s work has proved so popular that is beingr evived for a further period. The Our Earth 2018 group exhibition of British and international artists will now run from March 24-31 at the Kunsthuis Gallery in Crayke. Ben is also participating in the Reunion exhibition at the Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool, and the charity art auction Bid And Rebuild, a charity art auction at in Manchester, on March 14.
