THE XCERTS will perform songs from new EP Wildheart Dreaming when they play the Key Club in Leeds on March 31.
The four-track EP was preceded last month by first single You Mean Everything.
The band toured last year with The Goo Goo Dolls, Biffy Clyro and You Me At Six, as well as playing their second Reading and Leeds Festivals, Bestival, and 2000trees festival.
The XCerts’ breakthrough album Hold On To Your Heart was praised by The Independent as “a record of defiance, a celebration of life including all its pitfalls and a resolute middle finger to depressing thoughts and negative feelings”.
The new EP includes new tracks that were written during the Hold On To Your Heart sessions but held back.
You Mean Everything was written as an ode to Murray’s family and friends, but became about many more people once complete.
