TWO young friends put their best foot forward to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Floss Andrews and Archie Bostock, both from Haworth, completed a five-mile run.
And their efforts coined-in more than £1,100 – smashing their original £250 target.
Floss, a pupil at Haworth Primary School, and Archie, who attends Oakworth Primary, covered four-and-a-half laps around Ogden Water near Denholme.
“They managed it on a freezing cold day!” said Floss’ dad, Rik, a marketing manager at the Skipton Building Society.
“The amount raised included £130 donated on the day by walkers at Ogden Water.
“We’re extremely proud of both of them.”
