KEIGHLEY people are being urged not to lose their vote.
Bradford Council has issued a reminder that completed household registration forms must be returned by November 14.
Anyone not on the register won’t be able to vote in elections or referendums.
Forms were sent out to all the district’s households last month as part of an annual canvass.
Council chiefs say many people have responded, but there are still some forms outstanding.
Canvassers are visiting properties which are yet to reply and reminders will also be distributed.
Kersten England, electoral registration and returning officer for Bradford district, said: “We are working hard to ensure as many people as possible register by responding to the form so that they can participate in elections and referendums.
“The publication date for the revised electoral register is fast approaching so I would urge all residents who haven’t yet done so to return their forms.
“It’s so vital that as many people as possible in Bradford district are registered and able to vote and have their voice heard.”
Residents with questions about the forms can call 01274 432287 or e-mail electoralservices@bradford.gov.uk.
