A FIREWORKS shop aims to help a charity appeal go with a bang.
Atomic Fireworks, in North Street, Keighley, is donating five per cent of its takings to the town mayor's appeal.
Councillor Fulzar Ahmed is raising money for causes including the Airedale Hospital children's unit.
Behind the shop venture is Lee Ingham, who will be running the outlet until November 15.
"I've supported charities before and I just wanted to give something back to the community," he said.
"We expect the shop to get busier and busier as Bonfire Night approaches so hopefully we can raise lots of money for a great cause."
Tribute is paid by town councillor Michael Westerman, a member of the mayor's charitable trust board.
"This is hugely generous of Lee and we'd like to say a big thank-you for his support," he said.
