CLASSIC soul and Motown music returns to Central Hall in Keighley on Saturday with guest DJs from the Wakefield Soul Club.

Organiser David Shackleton said: “They will play soul music from the 1960s to today's modern releases, so there will be something for everyone who appreciates fine music from the last five decades.

“We only use the original recordings from release, so everything is authentic. We pride ourselves in sourcing experienced DJs far and wide with original vinyl record collections.

“The Alice Street venue has a large dance floor with a smaller bar/chill-out room selling beers and spirits.”

The event runs from 8pm to 1am with a small entrance fee.

December will see the Central Soul Christmas party with guest DJ John Kane from Sheffield, a presenter at soul events, as well as presenting John Kane’s Northern Soul on BBC Yorkshire radio on Saturdays from 7-8pm.
