YOUNGSTERS at a Keighley-district school got up close with a range of creatures.

ZooLab visited Eastburn Junior & Infant School.

And the Stirlingshire-based animal-handling team took along snakes, spiders and giant centipedes and snails.

Around 30, class-two pupils learned more about the creatures and had the chance to handle them.

“Some of the children were a bit wary at first but they loved it!” said a school spokesman.

“ZooLab visits every year and the pupils really enjoy the experience.”

The company – founded over two decades ago – has a national network of rangers who visit schools, companies, organisations and care homes.

It also organises workshops and attends events.
