A CHARITY which has been regularly feeding needy, hungry people each week in Keighley town centre is staging a 10-mile trek to support its work.
Intouch Foundation is organising a walk from Bradford to Keighley along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, which takes place on October 20.
Places are available now on “The Big Walk” though these are limited so would-be participants are advised to book early. There is a £10 registration fee.
The fundraising target for each adult taking part is £100, with the target for students being £50 and the target for under 16s £30.
People wanting a registration pack can contact either Faisal on 075393 68605 or Samera on 074764 74550.
Intouch Foundation operates a mobile food kitchen in Keighley and Bradford, providing hot food and drinks to deprived people.
The charity’s catering van is active in Keighley’s Church Green every Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8pm and outside Bradford Crown Court, every Monday from 6.30pm to 8pm.
