SIR - Since the front of Interchange rail station was closed off to make the new public square there has been nowhere to easily drop off or pick up passengers who’ve got off a train.
I had to pick up a relative off the Grand Central train from London recently and there is no pick up/drop off point and passengers with luggage are having to cross Bridge street and between parked buses at the temporary bus stops and cars just have to stop around the buses. For passengers requiring taxis these are almost hidden behind the wall to the station without a proper pavement.
I appreciate public realm works are taking place but a safe designated area for pick ups and drop offs needs to be provided both whilst these works are taking place and after completion.
Again rail passengers arriving into Bradford Interchange seem overlooked.
