SIR - It really is no surprise that a vote of no confidence in Bradford Council's leadership will be proposed at the next full Council meeting (T&A, September 28). Indeed, the only surprise is that this was not put forward long ago.
The two main Council Executive leaders, Hinchcliffe and Ross-Shaw, have presided over numerous shambolic episodes over the last few years ranging from child sexual exploitation issues, Children's Services, Star Hobson, Bradford Live, Darley Street Market, Etc, Etc. The list seems endless!
The big question is have the other Labour councillors got the backbone to properly address this issue? Surely there are other individuals who could do a better job?
Our city has been totally let down for years, and that Hinchcliffe and Ross-Shaw have had the brass neck to remain in office beggars belief,
So come on councillors, do something positive for a change and let's have new brooms to lead the Council forward. What are you afraid of?
Bob Watson, Baildon
