SIR - After a successful 60s music weekend at Bradford’s Midland Hotel, where the accommodation and food were excellent, feedback tells me that visitors will not come again to our city.
Three weeks later your newspaper (T&A, August 10) informs us why: ‘Concerns for homeless as arches gated off’.
The problem needs solving and not just moved. The Council need to act if we are to come out of City of Culture year with any respectability. The police regularly attended but where were council officers or dare I ask our political representatives?
They would be horrified to experience what I witnessed. Someone needs to get a grip. That is what we pay them for!
