SIR - That two teenagers have been found guilty of starting the huge blaze at Dalton Mills in Keighley is good news, but it is so sad that the resulting damage was so extensive. That wonderful and historic mill complex may never recover. How very sad.
One piece in the T&A report (August 2) though, did make me smile.
We were told that "the blaze tested the resilience of West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, which needed to pump water from the River Wharfe".
Wow, no wonder it took so long to put out, drawing water from so far away!
