SIR - Re Phil Barraclough’s letter (T&A letters, June 15) about the lack of toilet facilities at Bradford Interchange. I am as dismayed as he is that this matter has not been addressed, six months on from the sudden closure of the bus station.
For people visiting Bradford for the first time, especially those travelling by train, this does not create a very good impression of a city staging the highly popular Bradford Literature Festival until July 7.
Visitors from far afield may also be arriving at Bradford's Forster Square station where there is also an absence of toilet facilities.
First impressions can be long-lasting ones!
