SIR - Regarding the T&A article (February19) 'Low number’ of cyclists use bike lanes'.
The £29m route opened in 2016.
It states that in the first five years an estimated five million cyclists use the route, ie one million every year.
To my reckoning that equates to 2,739 cyclists every day of every year or 114 cyclists every hour of every day.
That doesn’t sound right to me and certainly not a 'low number'.
