SIR - The ongoing closure of the Interchange is causing daily pain for commuters and is putting people off travelling into Bradford.
The Nelson Street area is a shambles with half the pavements closed off, so it’s not easy to walk after being dropped off and no information nearby or any dry canopy to wait under for buses.
The elongated walk to the rail station now means I miss my train connection. And to top it off there’s no access to any toilets from the rail station or even a cup of coffee whilst the lower concourse remains closed.
It feels like a complete backwater and very unwelcoming and now it’s gone on for a number of weeks it’s getting more frustrating especially with the silence from WYCA. I miss our transport Interchange which sadly is no interchange at all currently. Get it repaired ASAP!
