SIR - Unfortunately the subject of grooming of often vulnerable children and young women and adults has reared its ugly head again, which has highlighted the root cause of the problem.
I don’t need to explain here as I am sure the national media will be all over this developing story as the full extent and scope of the reports are digested by all it concerns.
I salute the efforts of law enforcement who have tracked and prosecuted some of the perpetrators for their vile crimes, but I for one think it’s not enough.
My approach when I see a weed in my garden is I dig down to eradicate the root to hopefully stop that weed coming back or spreading, which is perhaps the only way forward to this continuing problem.
