SIR - Bradford continues to have a myriad of problems that need to be properly debated and dealt with.
Why on earth therefore does Bradford Council Labour leader Susan Hinchcliffe propose a motion on Gaza for discussion at the Council? (T&A, December 8)
Conservative group leader Rebecca Poulson rightly calls this out, asking why some elected members have chosen to debate a situation overseas over which the Council has absolutely no control.
Just what is Ms Hinchcliffe trying to prove by raising such a motion? Maybe by avoiding having to properly explain the sundry shambles that have occurred under her "leadership", and to take attention away from the many local issues that need to be addressed?
