SIR - The proposal by Keighley MP Robbie Moore (supported by Shipley MP Philip Davies) that both those particular constituencies should break away from Bradford Council will no doubt have both its supporters and denigrators (T&A, October 28).
He does, however, make a powerful argument in favour, and gives six excellent examples of the continued failings of Bradford Council. Sadly he could have listed many more besides.
Unfortunately Bradford's Labour leader Susan Hinchcliffe has presided over all the shambles listed, and yet has never felt obliged to fall on her sword, which tells us all you want to know about this Council, and just why Robbie Moore has taken the stance that he has.
An un-listening Council and a failed leader have held the city back for years. As Mr Moore no doubt feels, enough is enough.
