Yorkshire Young Musicians is a Sunday music centre, led by leading professionals, for highly talented musicians aiming to reach their full potential. YYM welcomes musicians from across Yorkshire and the Humber ages 8 – 18 with grants and free places available. 

 

YYM is unique in providing a wide and varied curriculum, including 1:1 1st and 2nd study tuition, theory, ensembles, composition, performance, improvisation, dalcroze  and musicianship enrichment classes that provide students with a well-rounded appreciation and understanding for music. YYM also hosts themed project days, where students focus on a certain skill or genre of music in a group setting, maximising their potential in the music industry by familiarising them with different environments and musical styles.
