SIR - There is to be a hosepipe ban, which is needed. Why on earth is it that it isn't coming into effect for 14 days?
We are told we are in drought conditions and we need to reduce our water usage, which makes complete sense.
Unfortunately, there is no sense to these restrictions if they are not acted upon immediately.
