SIR - If Bradford council is serious about the proposed changes to Manningham Lane and Canal Road then they need to let the public decide on the project manager, so we don’t end up with a ridiculous time scale as in the Greengates junction debacle.
What also concerns me is the pollution around the low lying land of Canal Road if traffic is moved there from Manningham Lane.
Could we also have an audit of cycle use on Wakefield Road? Queuing traffic due to a lane being reserved for cyclists. More pollution.
I’ve only ever seen one cyclist and he was using the pavement!
