Wakefield road roundabout at the junction with Bowling Back Lane
SIR - Well done John Murphy for raising again the disgusting state of the said cycle lanes on Wakefield Road - they were allegedly temporary but now the council may make them permanent.
I raised the issue of removing the cycle lanes with my local councillor who also wrote about Bradford's bid for City of Culture - these lanes are dirty, full of debris and a danger to anyone cycling. Perhaps councillors and the T&A reporters should look too. I’ve never seen a cyclist yet.
Three lanes to two mean queuing traffic - more fumes.
