SIR - Further to the recent letters about litter problems. Bradford Council provide each household with bins for general rubbish and recyclable rubbish along with litter bins hopefully in strategic places.
We should all be responsible for the areas we live in or visit. If we have litter and there isn't a bin handy many of us automatically carry it back home and place it in the correct bin.
The council do not pick up our litter. There are caring local people who litter pick voluntarily. I thank them when I see them because they do it for the benefit of other people as well as the environment.
