POLICE from Leeds North West Neighbourhood Police Team continued much-requested parking patrols on East Chevin Road in Otley at the weekend.
Posting on Facebook a spokesperson for the Leeds North West NPT said: “ On17th January, officers from your local NPT continued the much-requested parking patrols on East Chevin Road, Otley.
“On this occasion, 14 vehicles were found to be parked in a manner that could obstruct the flow of traffic or the view of other drivers and/or pedestrians.
“Please make use of the public car parks where possible when visiting Otley Chevin.
“Where this is not possible, please review your parking to ensure that it will not cause any sort of obstruction to any other motorists or pedestrians.”
Drivers are being warned obstructive and/or dangerous parking will be enforced via fixed penalty notices.
