GUISELEY bar & restaurant, Everybodys has donated hundreds of basic food and household items and is collecting more from customers and team members this week.

The donations will be taken to local food banks to help those locally that are struggling to make ends meet this half term.

The bar joins many local and Leeds venues, including its sister venue ‘The Ticket Office’ in Ilkley, who have pulled together to provide free meals and donations to help those families and children who need it most.

James, General Manager at Everybodys said: “We wanted to do our bit, and after wracking our brains we decided to offer this instead of free meals, in case people didn’t feel comfortable approaching us during opening hours. We knew some of the local food banks had shortages and we thought this was a great way for us all to contribute.”

The bar is encouraging locals to come down and use the Covid secure, drop off point outside the entrance of the bar and donate any essential items such as cereal, tinned soups, stews, meat, veg and fruit, pasta and sauces. They will then drop these off at the ‘Leeds North and West’ food bank both on Monday 26th and Friday 30th October.

James added: “If you are struggling and need a more immediate solution, we can put a special ‘Everybodys food parcel’ together for you. Please direct message us on our social media and we can organise for a discreet collection, should you prefer, when the bar is closed.”
