TWO more patients who tested positive for coronavirus have died, Airedale Hospital reported over the weekend.
The hospital said both patients died on Saturday, June 6..
A further death was reported at Bradford Royal Infirmary on Friday.
It brings the total number of deaths in Bradford hospitals to 317 - 108 at Airedale, two at Bradford District Care Trust and 207 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.
Today's statement from NHS England says: "A further 59 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 27,490.
"Patients were aged between 34 and 100 years old. Three patients (aged between 54 and 68) had known underlying health conditions.
"Their families have been informed."
