A LIST of recipes to help people eat well during lockdown has been produced in Otley.
Otley Courthouse created its Lockdown Recipe Sheet as a replacement for the usual newsletter it sends to volunteers and Courthouse Friends. The arts venue has been playing a key role, along with other local organisations, in helping the town’s residents during the COVID-19 outbreak.
For the recipes newsletter it teamed up with climate and sustainability group Otley 2030. A Courthouse spokesperson said: “This special lockdown recipe sheet was the idea of Jean Crawford’s.
“It then developed into a collaboration between the Courthouse and Otley 2030 - we had been asking Otley 2030 for their store-cupboard recipes and fun, low-waste food stories.
“We will be sharing the recipe sheet as widely as possible.”
The dishes featured include Moroccan bread, courgette and avocado cake and store cupboard bean hot pot.
The Courthouse is planning to put the recipe sheet up on its noticeboard, outside the venue, and to share it on their website and Facebook page.
