Otley Bridge dates back hundreds of years and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, linking the two halves of the town. Its oldest part dates back to 1228, when the Archbishop of York had it built. It was substantially rebuilt and widened in 1775 to 1776, and a pedestrian walkway was added in 1957. This undated photograph is from the archives of Aireborough Historical Society.
