GUISELEY Art Club has chipped in to help keep the town looking good.
The club donated £150 from its recent exhibition to the Guiseley in Bloom group.
Club chairman Trevor McFayden presented the cheque to Jenny Hill, Secretary of Guiseley In Bloom.
Guiseley Art Club spokeswoman Carole Warneford said: “We had a record number of paintings submitted by the club members which made for a great display. Cafe, tombola and crafts were extremely busy and made very good sales.
“The visiting public’s favourite painting was by club member Rob Thomson who was then presented with the Pat Hunt award by Pat’s widow Liz. “
The art club meets on Mondays at 1.30am to 4.00pm at The Methodist Church Hall, Orchard Way, Off Oxford Road, Guiseley, LS20 9EP
Guiseley in Bloom has about two dozen active members and always welcomes helpers.
