A NEW series of greeting cards showing atmospheric images of Wharfedale are about to go on sale.
Local photographers Steve Davey and Sharon Kenyon have used some of their finest shots of the area’s landscape and wildlife, plus Christmas scenes, for the autumn and winter collection.
Produced via their Goldring Cards venture, the cards will raise money for Hug on a Tray, the Otley-based initiative that provides comforts for Haematology patients at St James’ Hospital, Leeds.
Otley resident Mr Davey, posting on Facebook, said: “As before, for every card sold we will donate to Hug on a Tray - the wonderful local initiative run by Lesley Noble and her team of girls. Please try and support us if you can.”
The cards cost £2.50 each or £10 for five. They will be available from Otley businesses Maggie’s Boutique and Wharfedale Embroidery as well as The Cutting Jungle, in Saltaire.
