DIGITAL marketing, accessibility and business growth workshops are all on the agenda for Welcome to Yorkshire’s annual supplier fair - Y Hub 2019.

Sponsored by NFU Mutual, Y Hub 2019 will take place on Wednesday, October 9 at Wharfedale Grange, one of Yorkshire’s most luxurious event venues in Harewood.

Thirty-minute bitesize workshops will run throughout the day, giving businesses a chance to learn more about a variety of topics.

VisitEngland’s Head of Business Support, Ross Calladine will share some top tips to grow a tourism business. He’ll share information about the latest developments in tourism, as well as the free resources and support available from VisitEngland.

Ilkley-based Walking Photographer, Rich Bunce is ready to share his tips on how to improve business tourism photography to give the audience an insight on how to start taking “wow” pictures.

Head of Digital at Creative Marketing Services, Davis Tarvans will present a workshop about how to market a Yorkshire tourism business in the digital age and capitalise on online opportunities.

There will also be a ‘Stand Out from the Crowd’ member panel, which will include Q&A’s with branding specialist Debbie Wild, Director of Kinoko Kombucha; corporate specialist Marc Wise, Director of Live for Today; and Louise Kirby, Head of Operations at The Deep, who will share her insight on accessibility.

As well as training opportunities, Y Hub will be host to over 50 of Yorkshire’s finest supplier businesses showcasing their product and services, across food and drink, accommodation, attractions, professional services and transport. The free event also gives businesses the chance to network with suppliers and tourism experts to create new business opportunities.
