PARKING arrangements have been made for visitors to High Royds Memorial Garden and Chapel for the Heritage Open weekend on September 14 and 15.

Due to the re-development of the former Hare & Hounds Pub car park arrangements have now made for visitors to High Royds Memorial Garden/Chapel to be allowed to park in the area adjacent to Menston Cemetery. There is generally no problem parking in this area on a weekend. There is also a path from the Menston Cemetery to the Memorial Garden which can be accessed on the left hand side as you enter the Menston Cemetery itself.

There will be a commemorative service entitled Learning from the past and looking to the future on Sunday at 4pm.

It will be conducted by the Rev Andrew Howorth, Chaplain of High Royds Memorial Garden. The choir will be members of Ladies Please with organist Mike Nicholas.

All are welcome to attend the service.
