VOLUNTEERS who help run Otley Courthouse will feature in a Heritage Open Days linked exhibition.
The theme of this year’s heritage celebration event, which runs from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 22, is People Power. The Courthouse relies on a large group of volunteers and was recently awarded a Queen’s Award for volunteering.
To celebrate that, plus the arts venue’s 15th birthday earlier this year, an exhibition featuring photographs of the ‘Courthouse Crew’ was created by Humans of Leeds.
The exhibition will be on display on Saturday, September 14 when the Courthouse will also be holding a number of events for its Heritage Open Day.
A spokeswoman said: “We will also be open for guided tours between 10am to 4pm and there will also be ‘Beat’ walks - following the routes of 1960s police officers - around town at 11am and at 2pm.” For more details call (01943) 467466.
